Carol LiaBraaten hosted all the Cottage Grove area ladies, and us, for a lovely lunch last week. Linda, Jean B., Margie A., Leona N., Julie M., Margo M., Lenore S., and Dorothy H. I'm still learning what works best with picture taking, and this angle DOESN'T, but I'm still glad to have some photos.

The other side of the table, from right: Fern C., Rosie D., Elysse S., Ellen S., Carol L., Joyce A., Marion A., and me.

My first attempt at using the macro feature-a beautiful camellia bush at Gail Allen's.

Okay, I couldn't resist testing out my camera on some indoor shots. My roommates were great sports...and they reminded me of my childhood friends. : )

Wow, I can change the photo color right on the camera!! I'm impressed!

Relaxing after Gospel meeting with the Tull kids--very therapeutic!!

Linda really got some smiles out of Brendan. : )

Pixie wanted to join in the fun!

Kent W. and Lee I. were in town and came down to Myrtle Creek to meet some of our new contacts there. This is Carmen. She only speaks Spanish, so Kent's visit was a great help! She was very patient with us though, as we tried to speak with her, and tried to understand what she said to us.

Have you seen the construction project in Eugene yet? A new interchange for the beltline, we've watched it progress this year...and now it's looking like it will be safe to travel on before too long.

We had a great time when Linda's twin sister, Brenda, came to visit us with her two children, Alex and Adrian. We stayed at Herb and Margo McKillops', and enjoyed the time with them too.

Playing ultimate frisbee in the dark! It was great! When Linda saw this picture, she said, "Wow, we really do look alike! We're even holding our heads the same." : ) We enjoyed playing frisbee so much, that now Linda and I are carrying one in the car with us. Frisbee--for the kid in all of us.
